The CCAR Peer Recovery Coach Training is a comprehensive course designed to empower individuals to support others on their recovery journey. Participants will learn essential skills needed to support individuals in recovery. Training includes immersive learning, ethical guidance and a choice of specialized modules. This training is ideal for those new to the field or currently providing peer support services.

Training will include:

  • Recovery Coach Academy – 30 hours (5 days)
  • Ethical Considerations – 16 hours (2.5 days)
  • One-year webinar membership
  • Supplemental training; choice of:
    • Spirituality for recovery coaches – 12 hours (two days)
    • Professionalism – 12 hours (two days)
    • Recovery Coaching in an emergency department – 12 hours (two days)
    • Coachervision (supervisory Training) – 12 hours (two days)
    • Justice Setting – 12 hours (two days)
