The Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) Peer Recovery Coach Training is a comprehensive course designed to empower individuals to support others on their recovery journey. Training includes immersive learning, ethical guidance and a choice of specialized modules. This training is ideal for those new to the field or currently providing peer support services. Training will include:
- Recovery Coach Academy – 30 hours (5 days)
- Ethical Considerations – 16 hours (2.5 days)
- One-year webinar membership
- Supplemental training, choice of:
- Spirituality for recovery coaches – 12 hours (2 days)
- Professionalism – 12 hours (2 days)
- Recovery coaching in emergency departments – 12 hours (2 days)
- Coachervision (supervisory Training) – 12 hours (2 days)
- Justice setting – 12 hours (2 days)
