An essential need is the ordinary need for things that are necessary to sustain life.
It is considered the minimum requirements for a decent standard of life. It can be
related to food, shelter, clothing, sleep or sometimes transportation.

TRIO Student Support Services is a free federally funded program under the U.S. Department
of Education, established to assist students from first-generation, low-income backgrounds,
and students with disabilities to find college success.

Tutorial Services can give you a deeper understanding of your coursework and set you
up for academic success, no matter the degree or certificate program. Tutoring and
other services are free to any BCC student registered in a BCC course.

Writing Center
The Writing Center is a free resource available to all BCC students. Staffed by trained
writing consultants, we provide guidance and feedback for any writing, in any class,
for any reason, at any stage of the writing process.
