Trans Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance is observed on Nov. 20, 2024 and is dedicated to honoring the memory of transgender individuals whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. This day serves as a reminder of the ongoing struggles faced by the transgender community and highlights the need for continued efforts to achieve equality and justice.

Join us for an hour as we read the names of those who have lost their lives to violence. We are seeking volunteers to help read all the names. Please contact Jay Miller at jmiller@berkshirecc.edu or Erica Barreto at ebarreto@berkshirecc.edu if you are interested in supporting this event.

TRIO Talk: Your Voice Matters!

Intersex Awareness Panel (Hybrid on Zoom)

Intersex Awareness Day is internationally observed on Oct. 26 to highlight human rights issues faced by intersex people and to stand in solidarity. Join us on Wednesday, Oct. 23 to hear from panelists and learn how you can support this growing movement. This discussion will also celebrate the incredible and historical achievement of the United Nations' vote in April 2024 to instill human rights protections for intersex individuals. Cultural Appropriation vs. Appreciation Workshop

BCC Boo Bash and Craft!

Join us for a Spooktacular evening at our Boo Bash and Craft event! Bring your friends and family to the BCC Amphitheatre (weather permitting) on Oct. 30 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.. Enjoy ghostly games, eerie snacks, and creative craft stations. Dress in your favorite costume for a chance to win exciting prizes! There's something for everyone at this frightfully fun celebration. Don't miss out on the thrills — come for the boos and stay for the crafts!

Student clubs are encouraged to sponsor a craft or activity table.
