Presidential Search Committee

The Presidential Search Committee will play a crucial role in screening, evaluating, and recommending qualified candidates for the presidency. Our goal is to ensure that the entire search process is conducted with the utmost transparency and inclusivity. The Presidential Search Committee will play a crucial role in screening, evaluating, and recommending qualified candidates for the presidency. Our goal is to ensure that the entire search process is conducted with the utmost transparency and inclusivity. This approach will help us identify a leader who embodies the values and vision of our institution.

The committee will be composed of 9 to 13 members, representing the full spectrum of college stakeholders in accordance with the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education (BHE) guidelines. The membership will include at least three Trustees, a representative from the Department of Higher Education (DHE), and one representative from each major campus constituency: students, faculty, professional staff, non-unit staff, and support staff.

In addition to ensuring diverse representation from different campus groups, the committee will also strive to reflect diversity in terms of gender, race, and ethnicity among its members. This commitment to inclusivity is essential as we seek to build a committee that truly represents the diverse perspectives and experiences within our college community.
