April 14 – June 16, 2026, 5 – 7 p.m.

Join instructor Adam Graney to unlock the power of artificial intelligence to boost your career, ignite creativity and stay ahead in a fast-changing world!

This ten-week, in-person training will be held every Tuesday evening here at BCC. Learn the basics of Artificial Intelligence in a hands-on, supportive environment! This training uses a rotating curriculum between:

  • Classroom learning: Dive into core concepts through instructor-led lessons, discussions, and real-world examples
  • Team projects: Put your knowledge into action by working with peers on guided projects that reinforce skills and build collaboration.
  • Who should take this class?

This AI Fundamentals course is best suited for individuals who already have a solid comfort level with using technology. It is not designed for those with beginner-level computer skills.

To get the most out of the program, participants should feel confident with:

    • Basic computer use – navigating files, using common software (like Google Docs), and browsing the web data organization concepts – familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, or similar tools
    • Problem-solving with technology – some exposure to programming or logical problem-solving is helpful, but not required

Having this foundation will make it easier to understand how AI systems work, how they use data, and how they can be applied in real-world settings.

  • Student testimonial

Homework blisters. Handwritten homework reminded me of yesteryears filled with eraser crumbs. Always learning, but it's been a minute since I stepped into a classroom with fluorescent lights, a teacher, students, a syllabus, homework, fancy vending machines, and absence warnings. It was fun...still NOT the cool kid in class. However, in 10 weeks, I built a fully automated AI workflow to save SMBs time on SOP, a website, automated emails, and more. I'm currently working on IP development, sandbox, and website projects. And I had the audacity to enter a financial thesis contest. My thought? Why not! Special thanks to the Berkshire Community College staff and very creative, inquisitive, and talented classmates. Wow factor with classmate projects ranging from nonprofit, gamification, and film to 3D solutions. And special thanks to the TechRise grant. Overall, as a MARCOM professional, I consider AI another tool in my toolbox. Can you hear Liam Neeson saying, 'A very unique Swiss Army knife.'
