Joining a Zoom Meeting

Zoom is a commonly used program for holding meetings at a scheduled time over the internet. You can join a Zoom meeting using just about any internet connected device, even a smartphone. Many people really like Zoom because it is so easy to use.

Here are some quick facts to help you join a Zoom meeting:

  • A Zoom account is not required to join a meeting
  • Click the meeting link at or shortly before the scheduled meeting time

  • If it's your first time using Zoom, the program will download automatically
  • When asked, enter your name as you wish to be shown in the chat

NOTE: A Zoom account is only required if you wish to host a meeting.
